What symptoms caused you to take your pet to the vet for diagnosis?  January 1998, we noticed Kacey had problems going "P". X-rays showed bladder stones, in his bladder, urethra and to the tip of his penis. we had to go to Guelph University Hospital. they took blood work, and discovered something amiss with the results, more tests and ultra-sound , showed it was pituitary cushings,. We had to get his cushings under control before he could have surgery. In June of 1998, he was ready. The vet said they may have to make 3 insecions, one in each site of his stones location. He was very lucky, they were able to flush all the stones into his bladder, and he needed one insecion. In June of 2000, we noticed al lot of drinking, and going outside. I used a urine stick, it showed diabetes, vet confirmed it. He was put on Caninsulin, he is not the best regulated dog, but close.
